Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a model of supported employment for people with serious mental health disorders (e.g., schizophrenia spectrum disorder, bipolar, depression). IPS supported employment helps people living with behavioral health conditions work at regular jobs of their choosing. Although variations of supported employment exist, IPS refers to the evidence-based practice of supported employment.  Source: https://ipsworks.org/index.php/what-is-ips/

LSF Health System’s IPS program seeks to

1. Increase awareness of the availability of IPS services

2. Increase the number of participants in IPS programs

3. Increase the number of participants who gain employment

4. Increase the amount of time employed

The overall goal is to increase health and happiness and reduce substance misuse through the achievement of meaningful employment.
