LSF Health Systems is one of seven behavioral health Managing Entities (ME) contracted by the Florida Department of Children and Families to manage the state-funded system of behavioral health care for people who face poverty and are without insurance. LSF Health Systems serves a 23-county region in Northeast and North Central Florida. Our providers care for people who face the most vulnerable situations and do not have insurance. This includes children, adults, and families who lack the financial resources to afford care. Our goal is to ensure that every child and adult in need receive the right service, at the right time, and in the right setting.

What is the best part about participating in our April 29th cornhole tournament? Well, besides supporting LSF and the programs we facilitate, it would probably have to be coming up with a winning team name! So far some standouts are Feeling Corny and The "Hole" Enchilada. What team name are you and your partner going to steal first place with? 🙌🏆
All cornhole jokes aside, we are looking forward to a fun-filled day at Motorworks Brewing playing cornhole and raising funds to help those in need along the Gulf Coast. Along with the tournament, there will be food and drink available for purchase, a 50/50 raffle, music, and ticket prize drawings! Entry prices are as follows:
$35/team: (includes entry fee and two drink tickets) $20/individual: (includes entry fee and one drink ticket) $10/Team Subs or Non-Playing Spectator: (includes one drink ticket)
**This is a dog friendly event, you must be 21 or older to attend.
While it's true that awards aren't everything, they can certainly highlight the hard work and dedication that goes into achieving excellence on a daily basis. LSF was beyond proud to have two recipients honored at the 2023 Florida Juvenile Justice Association Legislative Reception.
Isabella Rodriguez is a former service recipient at LSF's Oasis Shelter. As a teen, she was struggling to communicate with her mother, got into the wrong things with the wrong people and was on a track she should not have been on. Her mother sought help for Isabella at Oasis and she was able to make changes in her way of thinking that turned around her life. Isabella was named one of three Department of Juvenile Justice Youth Ambassadors this year and we could not be happier for her and her continued accomplishments.
Ashle Jennings, a SNAP site coordinator for LSF, was recognized as a Service Excellence Award Recipient. Excellence is truly a word to describe her work ethic. Through a pandemic, a hurricane and everything in-between, Ashle has continued to go above and beyond to better serve the children and families in her area.
Our LSF honorees received their awards in the Florida capitol presented by Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary Eric Hall and had the honor of meeting Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo before going on a quick tour of the capitol.
Thank you again to the Florida Juvenile Justice Association for recognizing two very special people that serve for and were served by LSF. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who go above and beyond every day to make a difference in the lives of children through out the state of Florida. ...
