Michael Blessing holds a master’s degree in Sociology / Statistics from the University of Florida. He is currently the Regional Director of the Department of Housing and Community Inclusion (HCI) at LSF Health Systems. LSF Health Systems HCI combines elements of housing care-coordination, community inclusion, social determinants of health, supportive employment, self-directed care, state and federal benefit acquisition, and recovery-oriented systems of care. Michael’s training opportunities include Critical Time Intervention, Rapid Rehousing, Coordinated Entry and Vulnerability Indexing, stable housing, community resource location, Community Inclusion training, training in Housing Focused Case Management, Individual Placement and Support, Supportive and Transitional Employment, Diversion, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Permanent Supportive Housing kit, SSI/SSDI Outreach Access and Recovery (SOAR), NARR, and Housing First. Michael is passionate toward the goal that every person and family have safe, affordable housing choices and have many opportunities to fully participate in their community.
Scott Swanstrom (hosted 2021-January 2022) holds an MAR Degree in Counseling from Liberty University. He is a Project Coordinator for the Mental Health Awareness Training grant at LSF Health Systems. His training opportunities include Mental Health First Aid, QPR Suicide Prevention, De-Escalation Techniques, and more. His passion begins with Veterans, Families, and the Faith community.
